Paying memberships fees using TeamFeePay
- 1
Overview
From this season, all Bury Rangers membership fees are collected through TeamFeePay. For you, it means one sign-up, a card saved securely, and fees that look after themselves. For our volunteers, it means hours a month handed back to coaching instead of reconciling spreadsheets. This guide walks you through it from start to finish. Registration takes about ten minutes. You'll only ever need to do it once per child. - 2
Before you start
Have these to hand: Your registration link — sent to you by your team manager. Every team has its own link, which is how TeamFeePay knows which squad and which payment plan your child belongs to. Please use the link for your child's team. Your child's details — date of birth, and any medical conditions or allergies we need to know about. A debit or credit card. Your child's FA number, if you have one. Not everyone does — if your team manager hasn't asked you for one, you almost certainly don't need it. Please make sure yours and your child's details are also updated on the FA website A note on your card details. Bury Rangers never sees your card number, and neither does TeamFeePay. Card details are held by Stripe, the payment processor used by millions of businesses worldwide. TeamFeePay's own guidance confirms they do not have access to your banking information — it sits entirely within Stripe. - 3
Open your registration link
Click the link from your team manager. It will take you to the Bury Rangers sign-up page on TeamFeePay. If you already have a TeamFeePay account from another club or another child, sign in with your existing details — don't create a second account. - 4
Confirm you're a parent or guardian
TeamFeePay asks whether you're a parent or guardian registering a child. For all Bury Rangers youth teams, the answer is Yes. (Seniors, Veterans and adult players registering themselves should answer No.) - 5
Add your child's details
You'll now see the registration form. Anything marked with an asterisk (*) is compulsory and must be completed before you can continue. Two fields deserve particular care: Medical conditions. Please include everything relevant to your child's safety on the pitch — asthma, allergies, epilepsy, anything a coach or first-aider would need to know in an emergency. This information is held securely and is only visible to the people who need it. If there's nothing to declare, leave the field blank. Emergency contacts. Make sure at least one number is a mobile that will be answered on a Saturday morning. When everything is filled in, click Register. - 6
Choose the season, team and payment plan
This is where your fees are set up. Select the season — [e.g. 2026/27]. Select your child's team — please check this carefully. Choosing the wrong team means your child appears on the wrong squad list. Select the payment plan. - 7
Read and accept the club documents
Before enrolment completes, you'll be asked to read and accept our club documents — Codes of Conduct, Terms and Conditions, and our safeguarding policies. Click the blue link to open each document on screen. Once you've read them, click Accept All. This creates a time-stamped record for both you and the club, which is part of what keeps our FA Charter Standard Community Club status in good order. Please do actually read them — the Codes of Conduct set out what we expect from players, parents and coaches on a touchline, and they matter to us. - 8
Add your payment card
The final step. Click Add new card. You'll be taken automatically to Stripe to enter your card details. Enter them, then click Save. That's it. Your card is stored securely with Stripe, and TeamFeePay will collect your fees automatically according to the plan you chose. - 9
What happens next
Once you're set up, your TeamFeePay home screen shows your next payment amount and date at a glance. If your club requires a sign-up or registration payment, you'll be prompted for it immediately. From then on, collections are automatic. TeamFeePay sends advance notice before any payment is taken — 14 days before, and again 2 days before — by email and in the app, so nothing ever arrives as a surprise. - 10
Adding a second child
If you have more than one child at the club, you don't need a second account. From your TeamFeePay dashboard, choose to add another member. You'll be asked again whether you're a parent or guardian registering a child, complete their details, click Register, then select their season, team and plan just as before. Repeat for a third child if needed. All your children then appear together on one dashboard, with one card, one family calendar and all payment details in one place. - 11
Get the app
TeamFeePay has a free app for iOS and Android. It's the easiest way to stay on top of things, and it gives you: All your children's fixtures and training in one family calendar One-tap replies to confirm availability Your outstanding balance and payment history Club and team news, and secure messaging with coaches The ability to add a second guardian, so the load is shared Search TeamFeePay in the App Store or Google Play, and sign in with the same details you used to register.
