Positive in possession and great in our counter attacking football we see ourselves with a positive start to the tournament. With Stevenage playing a high line T finds a sprinting Libby past the back line and she finishes it home to grab the first. A well matched contest between two sides who were cancelling each other out with some great keeping from both sides. After a long ball over the top and players drifting out wide the wormley greys finished it home for a 1-0 win

0 vs 0 Wormley Blacks

Coming against wormley blacks after the amazing season they had we knew exactly what we were going to get! With some great out in our defensive works and some unlucky counter attacking we see ourselves sharing the points.

Game 4:
1 vs 1 Leigh Ramblers

Coming against a side who as an u16s team have pushed themselves into the top division of an u18s league was always going to be a test, however with some great play we lead the game early and dominated in possession. Unluckily with a lucky break through our back line we again shared the points

Game 5:
0 vs 0 Watford Hornets

JPL Side with academy prospects included, again we were in for a difficult game but we dominated possession throughout the game however unluckily we just couldn’t find the back of the net from some great goalkeeping! Points shared again (getting reparative this…)

Following this we finished 3rd in the group seeing us in the Shield final vs Wormley Greys!

A slow start saw us under a lot of pressure, however with a change in formation and tactics we begun to bring some pressure towards the wormley back line however following a unlucky deflection we saw ourselves lose 1-0 in what was a well contested final!
