The U12 Lions played their final bit of competitive football for this season at a very well attended Hemel tournament.

Building on recent tournament experience the Lions topped their group winning three matches and drawing two without conceding a goal.

In the semi-final the Lions started slowly but moved through the gears eventually beating a game Chipperfield side.

The Lions played the hosts in the final. A cagey match in which neither team wanted to concede. It finished 0-0 after extra time and went to penalties.

A few nervous minutes later the Lions were victorious thanks to some well taken penalties and shot stopping from Phoebe in goal.

CHAMPIONS without conceding a goal in open play throughout the whole tournament!

A fantastic way to finish an incredible season. Every player there today played their part. Pheobe in goal was solid, the defense led by Evie and Imogen was resolute, the midfield of Annabel, Ella R, Lucia and Aina was tenacious and technical whilst Leah led the line taking her chance when they came.

Next season is looking very promising!
