The u16s Girls returned today after Christmas and for one young lady it has been a longer period of away than just Christmas holidayd off.
Lillie played her first match for 15 months today having got the all clear from hospital just before Christmas. She has scoliosis and had titanium rods attached to her spine in October 2017.
Her journey although long is a positive story of how kids can be resilient and having football as an aim has helped her to return sooner.
There has been a few stories recently about scoliosis in the media but we hope a story closer to the club will raise awarness of the Scoliosis Association but also to all the girls to grasp the oppertunity to play football, make friends and be positive!
