Following the Government's announcement regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and the avoidance of social contact and gatherings where possible, Bury Rangers FC has ceased all weekly training and games across all sections of the club with immediate effect.
The FA is now advising that all grassroots football in England be postponed for the foreseeable future.
This also affects all FA grassroots programmes, such as Wildcats and the FA Fives.
"The decision to cease training and matches follows Government guidelines to help stop the spread of the coronavirus," said Jason Levy, Bury FC Chairperson.
"Throughout this period we will be taking advice from the FA with the priority being the health and wellbeing of all.
"We all look forward to normality returning and getting back to the things we took for granted and enjoyed doing, such as playing football and socialising with friends.
"In the meantime, thank you for your patience and understanding from all at Bury Rangers FC."
