The girls showed their resilience again to come from 0-2 down to win the game 4-3 in extra time. They like to do things the hard way after conceding 2 goals in the first 15 minutes. That sparked them into life and for the remainder of the game they were the better team. They created chance after chance and it was just a matter of finishing!
Pick of the goals came from Emily Stuart-O'Brien who in the first half scored with the outside of her right foot and it curled into the top right corner. But for her persistence and wonderful timing, Hannah Kidd hit a screamer into the top right corner with just 2 minutes to go in extra time, sending us all into great celebrations.
Player of the match was Lydia Alflatt. She set up our first goal and marked out of the game one of the oppositions main players, showing great positional awareness and commitment.
Well played Bury!!
